My new blog, Vozwords, is also up and running, with the first entry talking about my days working on HBO Tales from the Crypt. Lots of art and photos. Down the line I'll
also be covering my time in Narnia,
fanzines and homemade comics, and some thoughts on storytelling and design as filtered through my favorite illustrators, writers, and moviemakers. Check in every week.

For years Mike has been a regular at Bill Stout's Sunday Morning workshop (The Church
of the Naked Lady) which aside from the drawing is filled with lots of opinions and some
very eclectic music. But the main focus is always on the model, and we have been blessed
to have a selection of the most charming, beautiful and professional women that are
available.
Recently I had pleasure of working with Sara Streeter (the model in the Nip/Tuck ad
above) for a photo session. Sara always brings a sense of drama, creativity and whimsy to
her work. The drawings and paintings she inspires should be something to see.
Tom Nelson was my lead photographer with Sara as he was on another shoot with
Cassandra , another Muse who has left us in LA to work with Annie Leibowitz in NYC. Sara and Cassandra are part of www.gallerygirls.org , a modelling group that has brought
a new sense of professionalism to Figure modelling. (Several of the group are in the Vanity Fair photo.) Ms. Streeter and Cassandra are both featured prominently, along with several
other GalleyGirls in the Vozart Sketchbook.
